All-in-One Solution for Power Electronics Education

Twist EDU is a complete educational development kit built around the powerful and modular Twist Power Module. Designed for the classroom, it combines real hardware experimentation with structured courseware to give students hands-on experience.

The included Twist board is embedded in a rugged plug-and-play educational enclosure, specifically built for student use. All high-voltage and low-voltage interfaces are safely exposed through banana plugs, making lab sessions safe, fast to deploy, and easy to troubleshoot.

The Twist EDU kit comes with structured, modular lessons and hands-on experiments developed in collaboration with educators and engineers. Delivered in clear stages

What is possible ?

An extensive Courseware

AC voltage source

Use the twist board to create an AC voltage sine-wave with 23VRMS in this example.

From any 40VDC source, connect a 30Ω load. 

Use the ownverter board to drive a permanent magnet motor using its hall effect sensors.

The hall effect sensors are use to drive a field oriented control algorithm. You can implement more advanced control systems from it. 

Use the twist to connect a DC source to any compatible load.

From any off the shelf lab supply, you can deliver power to your target load.  In this example you can drive it as a buck (step down) converter. 

Use the spin board to generate up to 5 (five) pairs of high resolution (180ps) PWM signals. 

Connect the SPIN board to your USB and upload the code. You can set dead time, phase shift, frequency and duty cycle.
